Program Design

Program designs vary according to the specific program goals.

Our approach to team development begins with a process to clearly identify the desired outcomes for the session. Once the goals for the program have been identified we present you with a proposal for the session including: a description of the desired outcomes, an overview of the proposed design for the session, and details on our fees.

Program Goals

Establishment of program goals (outcomes) is the most important part of the process. This insures that we are working to achieve results that address your current needs. An example of goals identified for a previous program are presented below. While these may or may not represent some of your needs, they will give you an idea of the nature of the goals typically established for our programs.

Program Goals (Example):

It is our understanding that you are seeking a team development program for your entire organization. We would be expected to design and deliver a program that will:

· increase cooperation between members of the team.

· encourage more productive forms of communications.

· help team members learn the value of being more supportive of each other.

· redirect negative energy into productive activities.

Your long term desired outcomes are: (1) reduction in absences and tardiness, (2) reduction in abandon call rate, (3) reduced stress levels, (4) less bickering, and (5) people taking more responsibility for helping each other.

Pre-Program Activities

We will conduct additional interviews with key members of your staff and administer a team sensing inventory. The team sensing inventory will give all members of the team an opportunity to provide input in advance of the program. This information will be used in the final design of the program. The inventory has added benefits of: (1) communicating to team members that this will be a participative process, (2) letting people know that their input is valued, and (3) making discussion more productive during the team development session.

You will receive detailed reports of information collected from the team sensing inventory.
